These fly patterns were developed for shallow water feeding bonefish and permit. They settle easily on the surface of the water without the impact to scare wary fish. Due to the nature of the construction of the fly they can be fished thru turtle grass and over coral laden bottoms. These flies have been tested on the shallow water reefs of the bay islands of Honduras, flats of Belize, Bahamas and Mexico with great success.
