Shallow Water Bend Back Clouser Minnow

Tied on the new Ahrex Bendback design. Super sharp and shaped for the task at hand. The design shape of the hook makes this fly when completed 99% weedless. Bend back tying without bending the hook with a pair of pliers. The fly fishes with the hook point bend up keeping the hook point free from the bottom. The shallow water series of the Clouser Patterns uses 1/8 diameter bead chain eyes allowing for use on 4 and up rod weights. These flies are excellent for use on trout, bass and saltwater species. You can now purchase the Clouser Minnow on a hook that rides with the hook point up without adding weighted eyes to the pattern. The Clouser shallow water fly can now be cast on line weights from 4 on up and making the fly 99% weedless. This is an ideal pattern when fish are in shallow water and stealth is needed in the presentation. Flies are between 2 and ½ to 3 inches in length ties on Ahrex size 2 & 4 bendback hook .
